Sands-O-Time has been in the business of buying old stuff for 10 years. We are family owned and operated, by my husband Jim and I. Jim comes from a long history of collecting and selling baseball cards, comic books, pre- 60's toys and sports items. Before we got started with Sands-o-Time Jim used to travel the circuit of comics and collectibles shows until the market fell out in the 90's.

I come from a long line of collectors and found myself collecting an awful lot, so much that I decided to start selling items to pay for my “habit”.

Pretty soon, I was having so much fun I decided to try it full time. My favorite things to buy, sell and collect is the girl stuff. China, glassware, costume jewelry. I am also fascinated by Detroit automotive history and memorabilia. Art, brochures, advertising and more.

I have a degree in business and love being an entrepreneur.
